This APM article by Emily Hanford came out after I published the third edition of Teaching a Struggling Reader. I am including it here because it is so important for kids who are struggling to read but do not have dyslexia. It is long, but if your child (or an adult you know) is struggling to read, you may find this very helpful. It is called
